House in the Vines

Known as the King of Cookware, our client turned attention to winemaking and wanted a playground to welcome visits to Hestan Vineyards’ 80 acres of green land.

An ornate Tuscan castle dressed in hand carved limestone overlooks an 11-acre lake, skeet shooting range and one-hole golf course. Gothic arches, Roman pillars, burnished plaster ceilings, windows clad in Italian bronze and carvings on every cabinet and corbel revive the grandeur and detail of ancient European finery, while each floorboard is hand-hewn to evoke the wear of generations. Demonstration kitchens are portable around the world, and an open kitchen on the porch dines hundreds of guests in sight of the vines. Next, an even more lushly ornamented house near Sacramento again unites our team in tuning classic luxury to current taste.
