Sinegal

Retailer turned vintner David Sinegal moved from the Pacific Northwest to renew a forgotten winery, rounded by grown gardens and tall palms, into an acclaimed label.
Story +

For years, we’d been building with architect Juancarlos Fernandez, and joined him again to add space for visitors in front of the refurbished fermentation room. Our own Bill Schaeffer helped assemble the team and usher the process of approvals and adjustments. Crisply designed and eclectically furnished, the new tasting parlor entices with the bright comfort of a living room open to the air. Brushstrokes of wood, pooling marble and black steel interweave as slashes of light fan through overhead trellises, suggesting paths found and connections continuing.
